Peppol integration for custom software

Connect your existing invoicing flow technically to a suitable Peppol solution.

For Belgian companies where standard connectors are not enough. Codegenie maps the current invoicing flow and builds the required connection between custom software, Laravel, webshop, CRM or ERP, accounting and a suitable Peppol provider.

Get technical clarity first, then integrate with focus.

The right entry point depends on what is already connected today and how much uncertainty remains around systems, data and provider choice.

Peppol Readiness Scan

From €500 excl. VAT

A technical analysis of your current invoicing flow and what is needed to connect it reliably to a suitable Peppol solution.

You receive

  • Overview of the current invoice flow, systems and relevant data flows.
  • Missing technical components and integration risks.
  • Possible integration architecture and provider or API route where relevant.
  • Estimated implementation complexity and recommended next steps.

The exact scope depends on your software, accounting package, Peppol provider, API capabilities and invoicing process.

Peppol Integration Sprint

From €1,500 excl. VAT

For companies that want to connect existing software technically to a Peppol-ready invoicing flow through a suitable provider or existing software solution.

You receive

  • Focused connection with the chosen provider, accounting package or intermediary API where technically appropriate.
  • Mapping and validation of invoice, customer and company data.
  • Statuses, error handling, retries and technical logging where required by the flow.
  • Technical processing of outgoing or incoming invoices where this is part of the chosen integration.

More complex ERP, CRM, webshop or custom integrations are assessed technically first. They do not have a fixed total price.

Discuss your Peppol integration

Integrations around your actual invoicing process.

01

Laravel and custom software

Connect a proprietary invoicing or business application to a suitable Peppol provider or accounting flow.

02

CRM, ERP and accounting

Move customer, invoice and status data between existing systems in a controlled way.

03

Webshops and Stripe

Connect checkout, payments, invoices and accounting without assuming Stripe alone handles the complete Peppol flow.

04

Data mapping and validation

Transform existing invoice data into the format and fields required by the selected integration route.

05

Statuses and error handling

Make failed synchronisations, retries, API errors and relevant statuses technically traceable.

06

Monitoring and follow-up

After implementation, technical logging, alerts and incident follow-up can be scoped separately.

Technical integration, not tax or legal advice.

The Peppol network connection runs through a suitable provider or software solution. Codegenie analyses, builds and tests the technical integration. Tax, legal and accounting assessment remains with the customer and their accountant or adviser.

  • 01Since 1 January 2026, structured e-invoicing applies in principle to B2B transactions between Belgian VAT-liable businesses, subject to statutory exceptions.
  • 02A Stripe payment or Stripe invoice does not automatically make the complete invoicing flow Peppol-ready.
  • 03The technical solution depends on existing software, accounting package, provider, API capabilities and desired automation.
  • 04Codegenie is not offered as a Peppol Access Point; the network connection runs through a suitable service provider or supported software.

Illustrative invoice flow

What happens between your software and a provider.

An example using synthetic data, not proof of an existing provider integration. Fields, formats, identification schemes and statuses must match the selected provider and accounting software. This is a technical approach, not tax or legal advice.

  1. Source and ownership

Identify the owner of invoice numbers, customer identification, lines, amounts and corrections. A synthetic internal reference such as DEMO-001 maps to the agreed external document reference rather than a new arbitrary number.

  2. Mapping and validation

For example, map customer references to the required recipient identification, and lines and totals to required invoice data. An internal database ID is not automatically a valid network address. Flag missing data before sending.

  3. Submission and status

Keep local and confirmed provider references together. Distinguish locally validated, sent, provider-accepted and rejected states where supported by the selected API. Technical acceptance does not prove payment.

  4. Failures and repetition

A timeout may leave an unknown outcome. Inspect status or use supported idempotency before resending. Route changes and corrections through the agreed invoice process; never log complete customer payloads.

Frequently asked questions about Peppol integration.

Is Codegenie itself a Peppol Access Point?

No. Codegenie builds the technical integration with a suitable Peppol service provider, accounting solution or other supported integration route.

Does Stripe handle Peppol automatically?

Not automatically for every existing invoicing flow. Payments or invoices in Stripe must be assessed together with the invoice source, accounting software, Peppol provider and desired automation.

Can I keep my existing accounting package?

Often yes, but this depends on the available API, Peppol support and the role the package currently has in the invoicing flow.

Can the Readiness Scan lead directly into implementation?

Yes. The scan is designed to make architecture, risks and implementation complexity clear enough for a focused Integration Sprint or a larger custom project.

Can Codegenie keep monitoring the integration afterwards?

Yes, as a separate technical scope. Integration-specific statuses and synchronisations require targeted logging and follow-up. Pulse can only complement this where its supported website or application signals are genuinely relevant.
