About Codegenie
Analysis, development and technical follow-up stay close together, making decisions and expectations easier to align.
Discuss your project
Codegenie is a web and Laravel studio from Harelbeke. You discuss your request directly with the person investigating the technical choices and building the solution.
When a solution is professional, secure, simple and maintainable enough, optimisation stops. Every next step must add more value than complexity.
Verifiable foundation
Expertise is made visible through publicly reviewable cases, open-source resources and the technical foundation of this website.

Technical decisions are explained in understandable language.
No extra layers or features without demonstrated value.
Accessibility, SEO, security and maintenance are part of the foundation.
No fictional results, guarantees or hidden costs.
Code and content should remain understandable later.
Scope changes and risks are discussed in advance.
I develop and improve Laravel applications with business logic, user roles, integrations and databases. My work includes both new functionality and investigating and extending existing codebases.
I connect the required user journey with technical choices, appropriate checks and handover. Fleximatch and SaveNext illustrate different application flows; my own Laravel tool addresses a scoped deployment problem.
I am Jordy, the developer behind Codegenie. Alongside Laravel development, I help businesses with complex SQL, slow queries and database problems in MySQL, MariaDB and Microsoft SQL Server.
I start with the problem and the required outcome. I investigate queries, indexes and execution plans, agree a scoped change, then check correctness and side effects. The articles and demonstration below explain that approach; they do not guarantee a particular result.
Approach
Scope and responsibilities are clarified first. We then build and verify the solution in controlled steps.
We map your request, current situation and primary objective.
Pages, features, responsibilities and planning are defined clearly.
The solution is built in verifiable steps with regular feedback.
After technical checks, the solution goes live and maintenance is agreed explicitly.
Briefly explain what you want to build or improve.
