Freelance Laravel developer and technical specialist

A freelance Laravel expert for your application and development team.

Temporary Laravel capacity for teams and agencies: work directly with Jordy remotely on agreed features, integrations and improvements in your existing repository. Capacity, review and handover are aligned with your working practices.

Temporary capacity within your repository and team.

For teams and agencies needing implementation within an existing application. Remote collaboration, communication, review and capacity are agreed per engagement. This is work on a defined set of tasks; investigating an unknown problem remains a separate audit enquiry.

Join your existing working practices

Start with the task, repository structure, setup instructions, existing checks and working agreements. We agree limited access and identify who sets priorities, reviews changes and may deploy. Do not send secrets in the initial enquiry.

Discuss your team context

Specific work for teams and agencies

A feature, bug fix, import or API integration gets defined acceptance criteria. Integration work also considers error paths and repeated processing. For agencies, agree end-client communication, confidentiality and code ownership.

Remote delivery and handover

Work is handed over as reviewable changes with completed checks and remaining points. Agree how questions and reviews are followed up. Include the requested period and capacity in the briefing; start date, rates and availability are confirmed separately.

Explore audit and rescue for a blocker

Which Laravel service fits your question?

Each page has one primary intent: hire a Laravel developer, build a new application, maintain or take over existing Laravel software, or run a focused audit/rescue. This keeps each engagement clearly scoped.

Discuss your Laravel assignment

Two of my own Laravel tools as technical evidence.

The tools below solve bounded Laravel problems and each has its own page with installation, behaviour and source code. They are not a general quality badge and do not replace project-specific analysis.

stable

Laravel Config Cache Guard

Composer package that prevents Laravel from using stale configuration or route cache after an FTP or shared-hosting deployment.

Problem
Use this package as a safety net when deploying through FTP, cPanel, Plesk or shared hosting and a skipped cache rebuild must never serve old configuration or routes.
What the tool makes visible
Changed deployment sources are detected before Laravel boots, stale cache is safely bypassed and repair can complete after the response even without exec.

stable

Laravel Transaction Guard

Static analysis tool that checks Laravel code for side effects that can escape a database rollback.

Problem
Use this package during development, CI or an explicit deployment or maintenance scan to detect risky side effects inside DB::transaction(...) and manual transactions before a rollback can undo database changes while external actions have already happened.
What the tool makes visible
Unsafe transaction boundaries become visible through static analysis, common after-commit patterns are recognized and existing projects can introduce stricter checks gradually with a baseline.

Review how the tools are built, which tests are published and which versions are available outside this website. This is my own open-source work, not an independent review or certification. A test workflow or package listing alone does not prove suitability for your application.

Where can I help?

Complex business logic

Translate user roles, statuses and exceptions into an understandable application. We first define which outcomes must be correct.

Integrations and webhooks

Develop or investigate APIs, imports and payment flows, considering error handling, repeated processing and data consistency.

Application and database performance

Establish whether a delay originates in Laravel, Eloquent, SQL or caching. Changes follow from the analysis, not an automatic rebuild.

Controlled ongoing development

Deliver features and improvements in small, reviewable changes. Existing conventions, appropriate tests and handover remain the starting point.

What the work includes

01

Onboarding without an unsolicited rebuild

Start with local installation, existing conventions, critical processes and the task. Access is limited to what is needed. Do not include production secrets in an initial brief.

02

Work you can review

Features, fixes and integrations are delivered as scoped changes and pull requests. The handover states what changed, which checks ran and what still needs attention.

03

Working with your team

Agree who prioritises, reviews and deploys. In subcontracting, the end client, communication and confidentiality remain explicit.

04

Evidence before broad promises

Review the Laravel cases and public developer tools for concrete examples. Suitability is assessed from your codebase and assignment, not a list of frameworks alone.

Choose capacity or a focused intervention

Temporary capacity suits a task backlog within a team. An audit is often clearer for an unknown problem; a scoped rescue engagement can fit an urgent technical blocker.

  • 01Existing project conventions remain the starting point.
  • 02Remote working, reviews and responsibilities are agreed before work begins.
  • 03Rates, start dates and available capacity are confirmed for the assignment.

Is the delay in Laravel or in the database?

A slow application does not automatically need a rebuild. When repeated relationship queries, heavy reports or unsuitable indexes cause the problem, focused SQL analysis can be the right next step. First establish where the delay originates.

Approach

From brief to delivery

Scope and responsibilities are clarified first. We then build and verify the solution in controlled steps.

  1. Context

Discuss the stack, codebase, task and required capacity.

  2. Access

Agree a development environment and limited repository access.

  3. Delivery

Provide reviewable changes with appropriate tests.

  4. Handover

Record review outcomes, outstanding points and ongoing responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

Is part-time collaboration possible?

Yes, when the requested work and available capacity fit. Include your preferred days, period and main tasks.

How does a first assignment start?

Agree repository access, installation, scope and acceptance first. Then deliver a bounded change with review and handover.

Can you subcontract for my agency?

Yes, when roles, communication, confidentiality and ownership are clear. End-client results are not claimed without permission.

Need focused Laravel capacity?

Describe the codebase, task, preferred period and working arrangements. Do not send passwords or secrets.
