About Codegenie

Approach

A clear process, without a technical maze.

Scope and responsibilities are clarified first. We then build and verify the solution in controlled steps.

  1. Introduction

Your needs, goals and existing situation are clear. Together we identify a useful next step.

  2. Structure and scope

A concrete proposal with the deliverables, planning and responsibilities, before development begins.

  3. Design and development

A working version that we review together and refine within the agreed scope.

  4. Launch and follow-up

A delivered project with clear agreements on management, maintenance and further follow-up.

Technically strong, explained in plain language.

A good digital solution does not need to be larger or more complicated than necessary.

  • 01A focused improvement where that is enough, rather than automatically rebuilding everything.
  • 02Speed, accessibility and search visibility are considered from the start of development.
  • 03Technical choices are explained in terms of their impact on use and maintenance.
  • 04New requirements and their impact on scope are discussed in advance.

Practical knowledge and open-source resources.

Read focused guides on Laravel, websites, performance and reliable deployment, or use transparent developer tools as a starting point.

Clarity first, technology second.

How is my project priced?

We first discuss your goals, features, content and existing setup. This leads to a proposal with a defined scope and price. New requirements are discussed in advance.

What do I need to provide?

Explain what you want to achieve and share what you already have, such as branding, text, images or an existing website. Together we agree on the content still needed and who will provide it.

Does Codegenie only build websites?

No. Codegenie also builds web applications, portals, Laravel solutions and API integrations and supports existing PHP codebases.

Can Codegenie take over an existing application?

Yes. The codebase is inspected first, followed by a concrete assessment of risks and the smallest sensible next step.

Are hosting and maintenance included?

That depends on the project. The plumber formula includes hosting, SSL and technical maintenance; custom projects define this explicitly.

Does Codegenie only work in West Flanders?

No. Codegenie is based in Harelbeke and can deliver most projects remotely.

Can you also investigate a single slow query or database?

Yes. Codegenie also investigates scoped SQL and database problems in MySQL, MariaDB and Microsoft SQL Server. A full development project is not required. We first agree which query or workload to investigate.

A website, web app or technical challenge?

Briefly explain what you want to build or improve and what already exists. You discuss the options and the next step with Jordy before development begins.
